FAQs

What’s the difference between a financial coach and a financial advisor?
A financial coach helps clients build healthy money habits, like budgeting and saving, often focusing on mindset and behavior. A financial advisor provides personalized investment, retirement, and financial planning advice, usually requiring certifications and offering regulated services.

What can I expect during my first session?

I’ll start by asking about your financial goals and any challenges you're currently facing. From the beginning, you'll have the option to choose between a personalized session tailored to your specific financial situation or a more structured course covering the economy, business cycles, and how to thrive within them using key personal finance principles.

Do you only work with people who already have savings or investments?
Not at all. I work with anyone who’s motivated to grow and improve their financial life. There’s no minimum requirement for savings or investments—just a desire to learn and take control of your finances.

Can couples or families book a joint session?
Absolutely. Couples or families are welcome to book joint sessions if they want to tackle, learn about, or improve financial situations together.

Are all of the sessions virtual?
Due to my travels and desiring to give folks time savings or the possibility of being to meet in the comfort of their choosing, my sessions are virtual.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?
That’s completely understandable—life happens. Just let me know with enough notice, and I’ll do my best to accommodate your request.

Will I receive written recommendations or a financial plan?
Yes, if requested. It depends on the type of project we decide to work on and how I can best support you. I’ve used tools like budgeting templates and wealth management frameworks, and I’ve provided tailored recommendations and analyses based on the client’s financial information, goals, and areas they want to improve

Have you worked with clients in situations similar to mine?
I have over 5 Years of experience working as a personal finance consultant and have learned from every experience. In honest truth, I will be sincere when a topic is unfamiliar to me or when legally I cannot give an input. Nonetheless, I will always look to provide the client the information or the path to achieve their desired outcome.

Do you track client progress over time?
Yes, especially when I have regular meetings with a client. I guide them in learning how to track their own progress. My role is to provide the tools, knowledge, and guidance, but ultimately, it's up to the client to implement the prudent financial decisions that will lead to their desired outcomes.

What are your pricing options?
I offer flexible pricing and am open to negotiating based on a client’s current financial situation.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes, if a client is facing a difficult financial situation and I can help improve their circumstances, I’m open to offering payment plans. I understand that once their situation improves, they’ll be able to fulfill the payment.
